How to Measure

Use a soft measuring tape. Keep it gently snug against your body and parallel to the floor.
No measuring tape? Use a ribbon or piece of string, then measure it against a ruler.

Bust – Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Waist – Measure around the narrowest part of your waist.
Hips – Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Dress Length – From the highest point of the shoulder down to the preferred hemline.

Pant Length (Outseam) – From the waist down to the hem of the pant leg.
Pant Inseam – From the crotch seam down to the bottom of the pant leg.
Front Rise – From the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband in the front.

Helpful Tip

You may also measure a well-fitting garment you already own. Lay it flat, measure straight across, and double the measurement where a full circumference is required.

Free Minor Adjustments

Each Kuttons garment is made to order in your selected standard size. We can usually accommodate the following small adjustments at no additional cost, depending on the garment design:

Garment length adjustment of up to 6 inches
Sleeve length adjustment of up to 6 inches, where applicable
Add or remove pockets, where the design allows
Add a waist tie, where the design allows

If an adjustment affects the pattern, fit, construction, or overall design, we will contact you before beginning production.

Need a More Personalized Fit?

Our regular made-to-order service includes your selected standard size and eligible minor adjustments. It does not include full made-to-measure tailoring or major pattern changes.

We do not normally alter the bust, waist, hips, shoulders, armholes, neckline, bodice shape, skirt shape, zipper placement, or overall silhouette unless the request has been approved separately.

Some custom-fit requests may be possible for an additional fee, depending on the garment design and complexity.

Custom-fit services start at $29.
Major pattern or design changes are quoted separately.

Custom-fit garments are final sale and may require additional production time.

Linen is a natural fibre. Subtle variations in tone, texture, weave, and surface character are part of its beauty and authenticity rather than defects.

Made from fine European linen selected for its breathability, natural texture and graceful drape.

Linen becomes softer and more beautiful with wear. Its subtle slubs, weave variations and natural creasing are part of the character of genuine linen—not imperfections.

The fabric has enough structure to hold the layered sleeves beautifully while remaining light and comfortable against the body.

Size & Fit

Designed for an easy, relaxed fit that sits neatly through the shoulders and bust and falls comfortably through the waist.

Linen has very little stretch, so we recommend checking your bust and shoulder measurements against our Size Guide before ordering.

Between sizes? Choose the larger size for a more relaxed fit.

Need a different length? We can adjust the garment length by up to 6 inches at no additional charge before production.*

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this top fitted or relaxed?
It has a regular fit across the shoulders and bust with a straighter, more relaxed shape through the waist. It is not designed to fit tightly against the body.

Can I wear it with a standard bra?
The rounded neckline and covered shoulders are compatible with most standard bra styles. As with any light-coloured or lightweight linen garment, select undergarments according to your chosen colour and coverage preference.

Will the linen wrinkle?
Yes. Linen develops natural creases during movement and sitting. These are an expected characteristic of the fabric, not a defect.

Can the length be changed?
Yes. A complimentary length adjustment of up to 6 inches may be requested before production. An altered garment is made specifically to your request and will therefore be final sale.
