Between Sizes?

• Choose the larger size for a more relaxed fit.
• Choose the smaller size for a closer fit.

How to Measure

• Use a soft measuring tape. Keep it gently snug against your body and parallel to the floor.
• No measuring tape? Use a ribbon or piece of string, then measure it against a ruler.

Bust – Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Waist – Measure around the narrowest part of your waist.
Hips – Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Dress Length – From the highest point of the shoulder down to the preferred hemline.

Pant Length (Outseam) – From the waist down to the hem of the pant leg.
Pant Inseam – From the crotch seam down to the bottom of the pant leg.
Front Rise – From the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband in the front.

Helpful Tip

You may also measure a well-fitting garment you already own. Lay it flat, measure straight across, and double the measurement where a full circumference is required.

Minor Adjustments Available

Each Kuttons garment is made to order in your selected standard size. We can usually accommodate the following small adjustments at no additional cost, depending on the garment design:

• Garment length adjustment of up to 6 inches
• Sleeve length adjustment of up to 6 inches, where applicable
• Add or remove pockets, where the design allows
• Add a waist tie, where the design allows

If an adjustment affects the pattern, fit, construction, fabric requirement, or overall design, we will contact you before beginning production.

Need a More Personalized Fit?

Our regular made-to-order service includes your selected standard size and eligible minor adjustments. It does not include full made-to-measure tailoring or major pattern changes.

We do not normally alter the bust, waist, hips, shoulders, armholes, neckline, bodice shape, skirt shape, zipper placement, or overall silhouette unless the request has been approved separately.

Some custom-fit requests may be possible for an additional fee, depending on the garment design and complexity.

Custom-fit services start at $50.
Major pattern or design changes are quoted separately.
