100% Cashmere Stole - Made from Handspun Pashmina Wool in Ladakh, Himalayas

Wrap yourself in the whisper-soft embrace of the Himalayas with our pashmina stole. Hailing from the majestic Ladakh region, this featherweight cashmere scarf symbolizes the pinnacle of artisanal craftsmanship. Each stole is the product of traditional handspun techniques by skilled women weavers, who transform the fine undercoat of Changthangi goats into a textile so luxurious it's known as 'white gold'.

changthangi pashmina cashmere goat

Our ethereal cream Pashmina is not only soft and warm but steeped in the heritage of the Chagpa nomads who rear these extraordinary goats in the high altitudes of the Himalayas. Measuring an elegant 15x70 inches, it's a versatile accessory that melds seamlessly with any outfit, adding both warmth and a touch of sophistication.

Whether draped over your shoulders or looped around your neck, this pashmina stole is an embodiment of elegance and comfort. Its handspun wool whispers tales of remote mountains and ancient traditions, making it more than just an accessory—it's a piece of Ladakh that you can carry with you. Luxuriate in its softness and warmth, knowing you're wearing a timeless piece woven with stories and skill.

Cashmere vs. Pashmina Cashmere. What's the difference?

  • Cashmere: Cashmere wool (15-19 microns) is one of the softest and warmest wool in the world and comes from many parts of the world, including Mongolia and China.

  • Pashmina Cashmere:  Pashmina cashmere (8-15 microns), on the other hand, is the finest variety of Cashmere coming only from Changtangi goats of Ladakh/Kashmir Himalayas of India, where they graze and breed at high altitudes (above 14,000 feet) in freezing weather. You can say all Pashmina is Cashmere, but every Cashmere is not Pashmina.
