How to Measure

Use a soft measuring tape. Keep it gently snug against your body and parallel to the floor.
No measuring tape? Use a ribbon or piece of string, then measure it against a ruler.

Bust – Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
Waist – Measure around the narrowest part of your waist.
Hips – Measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Dress Length – From the highest point of the shoulder down to the preferred hemline.

Pant Length (Outseam) – From the waist down to the hem of the pant leg.
Pant Inseam – From the crotch seam down to the bottom of the pant leg.
Front Rise – From the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband in the front.

Helpful Tip

You may also measure a well-fitting garment you already own. Lay it flat, measure straight across, and double the measurement where a full circumference is required.

Free Minor Adjustments

Each Kuttons garment is made to order in your selected standard size. We can usually accommodate the following small adjustments at no additional cost, depending on the garment design:

Garment length adjustment of up to 6 inches
Sleeve length adjustment of up to 6 inches, where applicable
Add or remove pockets, where the design allows
Add a waist tie, where the design allows

If an adjustment affects the pattern, fit, construction, or overall design, we will contact you before beginning production.

Need a More Personalized Fit?

Our regular made-to-order service includes your selected standard size and eligible minor adjustments. It does not include full made-to-measure tailoring or major pattern changes.

We do not normally alter the bust, waist, hips, shoulders, armholes, neckline, bodice shape, skirt shape, zipper placement, or overall silhouette unless the request has been approved separately.

Some custom-fit requests may be possible for an additional fee, depending on the garment design and complexity.

Custom-fit services start at $29.
Major pattern or design changes are quoted separately.

Cut from breathable European linen, they combine a clean, high-waisted front with discreet elasticity at the back. The result is a waistband that looks like a tailored trouser from the front but moves more comfortably with you throughout the day.

Fabric & Feel

European linen gives these pants their breathable comfort, natural texture and softly structured drape. The fabric holds the tailored waistband and straight-leg shape while remaining easy enough for everyday movement.

Subtle slubs, weave variations and natural creasing are characteristic of linen rather than faults. They give the fabric its distinctive, relaxed character.

As with most white linen garments, Optic White may reveal slight shadows in strong light. Seamless, skin-toned undergarments are recommended.
