---------------

Cashmere vs. Pashmina Cashmere. What's the difference?

  • Cashmere: Known for its unparalleled softness and warmth, cashmere wool (15-19 microns) is sourced from various regions, including Mongolia and China. It's undoubtedly one of the finest wools in the world.

  • Pashmina Cashmere:  Prepare to be captivated by the epitome of luxury: Pashmina cashmere (8-15 microns). This extraordinary variety is exclusively derived from the Changtangi goats of Ladakh/Kashmir Himalayas in India. These magnificent creatures roam and thrive in the freezing altitudes above 14,000 feet. While all Pashmina is Cashmere, not all Cashmere is Pashmina. Pashmina cashmere stands in a class of its own, offering unparalleled softness, purity, and warmth that surpasses all others.
